Maybe not to you but don’t you think they’d stop if they didn’t it entertaining anymore. Speaking for myself, jokes take a long time to get old for me, so maybe the you’re thinking of also share that trait.
I’ll take a wild guess and say that “that glare” is what they’re going for in the first place. If they were to stop getting it, they might stop with those jokes.
