What a question ! WOW ! I think that in this world some thinks are withe and others thinks are black so in our sol exist to feeling love and hate! We must now what to hate and what to love!
Re: why?
Its all the fault of the guy/guy-ess who came out / invented the word hate .. had they not come up with this . . . we wudnt have used it nor wud we have know what it is.. :D
Re: why?

Someone truly said: I don't know how do the people find time to hate when the life is too short to love. So I personally feel that there is no room for hatred in such a short life.
Re: why?

Hate is O.K. i guess, if it truely represents your feelings, and I guess there is no general reason to address this question in general for all things/persons we can possibly hate.
Re: why?

Only a "BlindHope" can raise a question as to why "we hate", as soon as sight induces some insight the "audacity of hope" removes the silk of love, and then the glove comes off.
We hate for the same reason we love.
Re: why?
To love hate is to be ignorant
To hate for love is to be wise
It's not important why we feel emotions rather it is critical how we use them for gaining goodness and bettering ourselves.
Re: why?
Actually I hate to hate someone/something...
Somehow it makes sense...or does it?

It makes sense, since you are owning the part of you which hates, not rejecting it.
Re: why?
Who knows? Different for everyone.
Some people hate without any valid reason, like out of jealousy or because of rascist issues for example.
Other people have more valid reasons, like someone doing something very awful to you or to someone you care about for example.
Personally, I have nothing against hate, (even have hatred in me for certain things, certain people) as long as the reasons are understandable, valid.

Please explain....what do you mean by "rejecting it"?
Incidentally the title of this thread "Why" reminds me of a story that a friend who was a philosophy student told us. For an exam the topic was "Why?" Apparently most people struggled and rambled on for a few pages. The best answer was "Why not?"

Interesting story Imani, From "rejecting it", what i mean is, not owning one's action to hate, which results in an internal guilt. One calls himself that its not me, who can do this.
