I get it that certain groups consider it a mourning period, not that its justified but fine! But what really annoys me is when Sunnis follow suit... there have been many shaheeds before and after the incidence of Karbala but no one mourns over them (May they be blessed with Jannat-ul-Firdous)... absoloutely no happiness can be had... no one gets married, nothing is celebrated... why on earth have sunnis prohibited themselves from such things?
