Provide a minimum of 3 good (ok fine reasonable) reasons to why you joined gupshup. If you are unable to do so, then perhaps its time to find a different hobby :chupki:

  1. I was bored (still am)
  2. Attia :smilestar: told me to
  3. I THOUGHT it would be educational :disgust: (no comments to that)
  4. to meet funny people (which i did) :clown:

I think Shikra's the only one that knows the whole story as to how I came about GupShup...It's actually quite embarassing and I'd rather not share. :S

  2. looking for people from pakistan (found but some r fraudias)
  3. looking for news and information about pakistan (found but mostly from fake paki wana bes living in the us - most of the information was wrong...sad)

I was searching for some Pakistani pictures I needed for my world geography project on Pakistan. I googled and came across gupshup’s image gallery. From there I happened to click on “Poetry” and started reading Janu Jia’s poetry and liked it. I decided to join the site and at that time I only posted in Poetry. Then Janu Jia one day introduced me to cafe forum and I decided to post in this forum as well. I had my old ID deleted and came back and joined the site with this ID and ever since then, I am posting in cafe for the most part, and I am a cafe mod, so go figure :smilestar:

I didn’t come here with the intention of making online friends/meeting strangers, but I have made some **great friends and had the pleasure of meeting very great **people. I am glad I joined gupshup.
