If you're not trolling, you need to back off from your MIL. When I first read your post, I honestly thought your MIL was your significant other and I had to go back and reread to get things straight. Being nice and caring is not just about giving gifts and checking up on people; it also includes respecting the other person's space. We're all different. Not everyone will express their love or return it in the same way as you.

Well since instead of gettinh advice, im being attacked, i just deleted my post. Thanks for the help guys. But i dont think im wrong to wonder why my MIL never calls me or picks up my calls. Im preety sure if u call someone and they dont pick up or call back, u wud find it odd too. I just wanted to know what her reasons could be, thats all. And i do give her space, its not like im calling 24/7 bugging her i just call ,2 or 3 times a month to say hi. Is that too much? And even if i do stop, my fiance wont let me. He even tells me its ok, just keeptrtrying from ur side. Plus she lives alone, as her son works out of state and her husband passed away, so i get worried abt her if i dont hear from her for too long. But maybe i should stop
