Why won't Allah swt answer my dua's?

Why won’t Allah swt answer my dua’s? P1/5:

  1. Allah always responds even if the answer is sometimes no. He has no need to answer it affirmatively otherwise who would be the slave and who is the Master. He has no need of us, our ibadah does not benefit Him, he has many other slaves who already do more of what He orders than we do and so why should He HAVE TO answer my Dua at all?

P:2/5

  1. The fault is in our lack of faith in Allah and patience with our dua. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said: Your Dua will be answered as long as none of you are impatient. One should not say: I made dua but it wasn’t answered

P3/5:

  1. The fault is also in us not to have a proper understanding of the implications of Dua, especially in how to make the Dua general rather than specific. Today we make our dua far too specific like Give me this job in this company or that wife from such and such household. Rather lets learn how to make Dua general like the youth of the cave who said: O our Lord give to is Rahma from you and guide us in our affair (AlKahf) إذ أوى الفتيت إلى الكهف فقالوا ربنا آتينا من لدنك رحمة وهيء لنا من أمرنا رشدا

P4/5:

  1. The problem is also with us in not having husnudh-dhan billah( thinking positive of Allah )and instead become hasty , too specific in our dua, and impatient because we think we know whats best for us. Rather we must remember Allah knows best and Allah has our best interest with Him and He wants the best for us, so let us make Dua and hope for the best from Allah.

P5/5:

  1. You did not invoke in Him properly.

As per the ayah يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وابتغوا إليه الوسيلة..
So there are 4 types of waseelah shariyyah we can use for our duas to be accepted

  1. Allah’s names and attributes. If its Mercy and forgiveness then use the right name of Allah such as AlGhafoor AlTawwab AlHaleem and if its wealth and richness then use the right ones AlWahhab AlMannan AlGhani

  2. Mention your sorry state and poor condition in front of Allah in your Dua like Zackariyya did when he mentioned how he has become old and bones have become weak and wife has become barren

  3. Mention your good deeds done purely for Allah like ربنا إنّنا آمنا فاغفر لنا… And like the three stuck in a cave who mentioned their good deeds to Allah and Allah moved the stone bit by bit so they can get out

  4. Seek out good people who can make Dua to Allah for you.
