ANd they feel as if they have no where else to go. I mean, we can't judge until it happens to us, allah ram kare. But that's the way life is. We can talk all we want about how stuoid they are (I DON'T THINK THATTTTT!!!!!) or how they always have choices, but unless you are in that situation, NO ONE has a right to judge!

I think its completely opposite. Women stay in abusive relationship because they REFUSE to lose hope and belief in love.
Once a woman gives her mind and heart away to a man she will suffer a hell of a lot of heart ache till she throws the towel in. As much as I believe in compromise I think a line needs to be drawn on what's comprimisable and what isn't.
Its the same as the other thread about why men stay with bad women. Once a sincere person gives themself up for somebody it takes A LOT to push them away.
A blessing or a curse I'm not sure.

and also, it's not like they're getting abused every day..more like episodes...and i'm sure there have been times their psycho husband has been nice.

maybe they're in love with the bad guy? and forgive him for his bad behavior each time? when you love someone you don't think whether he is mistreating you or not, you just keep on loving coz you can't help loving that person. love is blind and makes you helpless.
^The feelings that the victim is confusing as "love" could actually be a case of really low self-esteem.
