Yeah I agree that women SHOULD wear decent clothes that don't reveal their Awra, but this Video is totally disgusting. So women must cover up because men are primitive creatures who can't control themselves?
This video is kind of weird anyway. Let me ask all the guys here in GS, do you watch the news? If yes, how many of you would remember what have been said on the news if the presenter was an atractive woman?
Me personally, I watch the news everyday, and the presenter is in fact a good looking female. But I don't have problems getting anything what have been said on the news. So maybe it has something to do with how you were raised?...or maybe the guys who took part in this experiment were pervs to begin with? LOL

I have female professors and I do listen to them more attentively sometimes then male professors not because of 'sex' but for a simple reason that they are talking sense. As humans we have a natural filter for something we are not interested in. For example if we have soccer world cup finals than most of the men will prefer it over any finest porn movie ever available.
We know that 'perda' is important but there can be many other logical ways to prove it.

Anyway if you will ask a Mulvi sab Sir why a man is not need to wear burqa he will defiantly say "because Man has responsibility to go out and earn money and having hijab and doing all those stuff he needed to do is hard with wearing hijab so Allah excuse a man to do perda." if you are saying about LOGIC no perda for man this is the logic NOW how come you say when a woman is going out to earn money she must wear hijab??? Logic is logic if a woman is doing something like man she must have excuse for perda too BUT Here HEY NO LOGIC WHEN IT"S ABOUT ISLAMIC LAW.(yes.......)

What does NaMaan have to do with the threads you posted here? Why are you getting all angry? NaMaan didn't even have the chance to explain what they meant when they said that there are other logical ways to prove it. You just assumed that they will say something work related and are getting all angry at them.

Calm down calm down. All I wanted to say was that to study human behavior the worse you can do is to generalize. We cannot generalize on the base of what 5 men said about a newscaster. There are men of all ages and all beliefs, which might totally disagree with these five men. So first of all, I am not buying this experiment and its connection with perda argument.
2ndly only a woman can tell that how she feels having a perda on. We cannot related it to how men behave. Like women in west don't do perda but muslim women do. Only because they feel differently towards it. So if we can prove this arguments with a logic that women feel more secure and confident because men can't see them, than it might be more convincing.
But still I hope that someone must have made this video in good intention. :)
