" In the time of Jahilya, Umar Farooq (ra) took his little girl to bury her alive as it was the custom in those times. He found a spot and started digging, his daughter on seeing her father digging into the ground also started digging alongside him.
On seeing her father sweating from the heat and the work she wiped his brow, the hole was dug big enough for his daughter and he put his little girl into the hole, she cried out to her father again and again.
For this terrible act he retold it to the beloved Messenger (saw), at the end both were crying so hard that their beards were drenched with their tears. "
** It makes you think that if it wasn’t for our Prophet Muhammad (saw) who spread the beautiful religion of Islam then these barbaric acts may have still existed in this day and age, which could have resulted in us not being here. So we should appreciate the great efforts made by our Prophet (saw) to spread Islam and we should at least TRY to follow his teachings.
- May Allah (swt) give us all the ability to follow the True path.
