*Gina *- "they don't look organized either.. nor do they look groomed" is a perfect justification as to why they are your image makeover clients.
The point again is some *men and *a majority of women are bad when it comes to time management.
My point ig-jjaaacly......
can't remember the code for THUMBS UP..
A Muslim woman is allowed to do all make up and look good for either her husband, or when she is joining a gathering comprising of her relatives and female friends. Other guys in university or offices and their comments shouldn't bother her because in Islam they are supposed to keep their gaze low and she is supposed to avoid them to the extent possible. It is her right to dress in accordance to her beliefs, the way she feels comfortable, irrespective of how other people in her office would think about her. The respect she gets from people for not wearing enough is not worth it, compare to the self respect she would get for following her beliefs
The most amazing act for a Muslim woman is to start "presenting" herself before going to office/ university the way she should present herself only in front of her husband, but unfortunately the beauty is exposed to male bosses and colleagues, who might not always know/follow their duty of lowering their gaze.
Re: Why women are totally oblivious and incapable of time management
Dude this is the 21th century.
if u cant keep up with required company dress codes than ur asked to leave.
cant work for someone and b ur own boss
Re: Why women are totally oblivious and incapable of time management
Womens prerogative. We are allowed to do anything and everything you will be shouted at for doing.
Welcome to life...its sucks but you're going to love it!

It was actually a reply to the following comment made by another poster in this thread. Didn't mean to point anyone out.

Re: Why women are totally oblivious and incapable of time management
Chachoo
If u lived and worked in west then u wud know. u have to have maintain good relationship with fellow colleagues.
u cant wear a bakalava and ignore the office. if u wanna do that then mayb the office isnt the place for u.
and whats unislamic, or dislawful, about changing the colour of ur scarf?
its the same kind of genuine suggestion a man can get by a fellow female employee,
: hey y dont u change ur tie, u wear the same colour every day.
whts with the lecture

It is good to keep up with the requirements of ones company but not in a case where there is a clash between ones beliefs and company rules. In context to that post, at times scarf is not allowed by some companies.
Re: Why women are totally oblivious and incapable of time management
so why r u lecturing as if ladies r not wearing anythin at all to work.
yaar. what can u do. its expensive tolive in west. many expenses+ credit crisis and that.
many occasions, both couples have to work, to maintain a decent living standard or even survive.
kia karien bhiaya, majboori is majboori, islam allows space for manoevre in such cases.
If u were talking abut ladies working in mecca/medina then ur concept r fully practical & applicable.
Re: Why women are totally oblivious and incapable of time management
^ Didn't mean to present my humble views as lectures. I agree that at times it is very difficult to maintain one's beliefs and also follow the company rules, specially in the west. I have also faced such situations, in which case I pray to my Lord to help me, to bless me with courage to be able to remain within my faith and to forgive my mistakes because my intentions were not to disobey my faith.
I agree with you that we should sincerely try our level best to follow our faith to the extent humanly possible.

I didn’t read all three pages of this generalizing thread but RC, let’s say for a sec you’re right…
You say women can’t manage time - and the example you’re giving is the amount of time they take to get ready for an occassion?
Give me another example dude. ![]()
