"To qualify to be from among the Companions of the Prophet (saw) one has to be from among anyone who knew or saw Prophet Muhammed (saw), believed in his teachings, and died as a Muslim">ibn sidique
so what about hazrat owaise karni who became muslim, whom the prophet regared in high esteem but they never actally got to see each other.is he classed as a sahabi?
