Why we say ‘breaking fast’ not 'Iftar?
"Breaking fast' in angrezi....'Iftar' in arabic and urdu. Whats the big deal about terms anyway? I think ur taking the term 'breaking fast' literally. You could call it 'opening fast' instead.
In Arabic ... its "Fatoor" ... in Urdu is "Iftaar".
