Re: Why We Don't Feel Anything?
Peace All,
WS,
I believe we do see similar results, but I hate to say it, they seem to be lot more civilized. In Muslim countries, it seems that tire burning still continues when such videos come out. Now, consider the irony of this situation that a Muslim is burning and destroying property - whether they own it or not (generating more sins in return), to condone a video which talked bad about Muslims in a way or perhaps something related to them.
In general, these acts are not promoted or shown by main stream media, but only in some cases due to the negative publicity they generate. We hear about them through FB or YouTube, ..etc. There was an issue of Quran burning during the last few years and the local media told the pastor performing this act that they will not cover his event. This was to ensure he doesn't gain more motivation towards it.
We see similar acts through out the world. Unfortunately, the issue spreads wider than the videos as well. Moulana from local Masajids are preaching all sorts of stuff without validation about other religions and then the local Priests are doing the same as well. This problem lies on both sides. With more literacy and mixed relationships, people are aware of this fact as well. My colleague who follows Bible has kept an eye for me at work multiple times if the Pizza had pepperoni in it. This is due to simple awareness from his College days with a Muslim guy.
Differentiating what is right from wrong has become such a huge task that we seem to be involved in that during our daily lives more than trying to teach each other something new. This includes me.
Well said. So could u plz tell us how can we contribute in positive way. I mean how shoud be our (positive) role? What u say/think about it :)
That's the best irony: no religion teaches hate - officially anyway. All religions claim the same thing: they are tolerant. But they do believe they are the only right ones. You can't argue that.
Lol you can disagree but I said atheists make that argument not that only atheists make that argument. Big difference.
Forgot to say Peace LK.
I think religion doesn't mean in any sense that to win over each others. It is like a knowledge, a good positive knowledge who learned/experienced it may share it with others so the other may benefit from it.
So what u think. What will going to happen if two kings rules one country or two teachers teach one student/class? Do u think this is possible/wise to ruled/teached by two teachers?
All athiests are not shaitaans. Just as all religious people are not shaitaans.
To the best of my knowledge, Hinduism does not teach us to disrespect other religions OR ATHIESTS.
I agree with what u said. Plz tell what Hinduism teach about many other issues like what about God? How do Hinduism explain it?
