So…there was this thread in Religion forum…that i happen to read and found interesting…it was an old thread…i thought instead of opening a new thread…i would continue the discussion that was in that thread…since it was in a flow…

I posted in it…gave my views…and then another member came attacked me personally unprovoked (mind you the said member has done this on numerous occasions and continues to do so…)
I just replied to that member to not attack me personally and not make off topic posts…i didn’t say anything other than that…
and then the thread got locked…
the thread has not been opened subsequently…and the reason for locking the thread has not been communicated despite repeated requests…i am being told that i should open another thread…but that thread can not be re-opened and the reasons can not be explained…
what sense does it make to open another thread with same topic again? from what i remember…its against the rules…
I would like to know…why that thread got locked?
instead of off-topic and personal attacking posts being edited/deleted and thread re-opened??
