…and it was locked within no time…

I want to know which GS policy was violated in that thread…

and since when did mods get psychic powers to know what a person’s answer to any question is and what was the intention behind a thread ?

This thread…which is almost identical to my one is up…

Thanks for opening it........but what do you mean by there was trolls at that time??

and how is it fair for a moderator to lock a thread while suggesting what my intent/answer was behind my post......having the last word and locking it??

anyway, you have to realise the topic could easily have gotten some uber naughty replies, so the mod took a precaution and locked for some time. or maybe he knew i was gonna post some lingerie and ask for opinions :hinna:

happens to me all the time, only they never open it back :grumpy:

Hi Nomica,

The two thread links you gave.

The kapray one was not closed because it did not encourage chaskay baazi.

Now I am not saying your thread was meant for chaksay baazi, but the kapray was IDENTICAL to yours but in a more politer way. Again that was the point I was trying to highlight, and that is also the thing I wrote when I closed the thread which was that it will be opened if found approrpiate. Niksik agreed and opened it. All that was required from you was a little patience till we determined whether it was appropriate or not. Disappointing that you did not give us the chance.

The second thread is up because there is nothing trollish about it.

Thirdly, please lets not play the victim card here :slight_smile: Go and browse Life1 and see PLENTY of other threads that are closed from a LOT of other users or a lot of them will have posts moved on a REGULAR basis yet you don’t see them saying there are conspiracies against them? You have to understand we’re responsible for keeping and making sure that we keep everything nice and clean because if we don’t then it is also the members who will also be the first to complain that we’re not keeping our forums clean.

Fourthly, since we all like to uphold rules, the feedback rules also state that any problems must be discussed via PM’s with a CM or a Mod before coming into feedback. Try to resolve it through PM’s, we don’t bite :smiley:

Lastly, again I am disappointed and surprised if you were offended and I apologise if you were :k:

I have been through the PM route before…and in the end i get told “go talk CM or Director”…so i figured its better to discuss things here…

Again if ‘chaskaybazi’ could be defined…and rules pointed out which mention a ‘chaskaybaaz’ thread will be closed i will really appreciate that…that was the point of this specific thread…When ‘lingerie’ threads (with pictures) are not considered ‘chaskaybaaz’ and countless other ‘sex threads’ are not chaskaybaaz you can’t blame me for wondering why this one was considred to be one :hmmm:.. so if you explain that…it will be helpful not only to me but to others too…again i am just looking for the ‘policies’ with regard to these as mentioned in my first post…

may be members deserve that chance too :faizy:…i see people getting banned without being given an opportunity of being heard…sure we can disagree on that point too…

If asking questions about moderator actions means ‘playing victim card’…and ‘user complaints’ mean ‘consipiracy theory’…i really have nothing to say about that…

Lastly, I would also be disappointed and surprised if you take any of this personally…even if a rule/policy is violated by a member…its NOT an intentional offense against any Moderator…

I am sure you know what chaskay baazi means. Infact there was a thread about CR just a few days ago which I am sure you were aware. I took a precaution, waited if we could open it or not and in the end we opened it. Simple. =)

So do you talk to the director or the CM?

Niksik can add more if she wants to but for now I’m locking this thread since the thread in question was locked for perfectly valid reasons and was re-opened after review. Fazool mein arguing karde paye ho :hehe:

Nomi, you reported a couple of posts from this thread...I have removed them. However, I hope you understand why mods are a bit reluctant to leave threads such as these open. While we all have fun in Life1, threads that have hot words like "lingerie" or "sex" or let your imagination go wild typa buzz words, will always attract a certain kind of discussion that includes what you experienced. We have several threads like this pop up daily and very often, they have to be closed or moved. There is no personal agenda here but just a simple fact that things do go out of line when the topic is such.

Please do let me know if you'd like to keep the discussion going. The mods will be reviewing it from time to time. Thank you. :)

I will reiterate only the policy matter and thats (principally) why i opened this thread…

i know threads like those “can potentially” turn into something different…but i only opened that thread keeping in view what i observed happening before…i.e sex and lingerie themed threads being open and discussion going on for pages without any issues…

i wouldn’t have opened that thread if had seen those threads closed or something…
my understanding was that the threads were closed/moved ONLY if something objectional was posted … which can frankly happen to otherwise perfectly ‘normal’/‘average’ threads too…

hence my question with regard to the policy here…
