wrong.... i dont have it right now, will need to go to my books and dig out the exact references, but even in jew literature u can find accounts of prophets abraham, ishaq, yaqoob (the man nicknamed israel, from whom bani israel take their name) all going to makkah for pilgrimage (i.e. hajj).....

ppl used to come to makkah for hajj even before Muhammad (saw) was made prophet and even before his birth....

then why don't Jew's perform Hajj? how did it evolve strictly into an ISLAMIC requirement?
