he brought a Hindu wife which was totally against Islam without converting her…she practiced Hinduism while married…he himself did NOT convert…he did NOT approve of his son’s choice of the wife because she was a nautch girl proves that he was a hypocrite. he is most loved by Hindus and most hated by Muslims.

Exactly that is the question. In between all such hatred he attracted due to his actions, why was he successful and considered most successful Mughal emperor by all historians (irrespective of their ideology)?
