Why there are lot of extra Alphabets in Urdu

Since I have grown up, I see redundancy in urdu alphabets, which is totally useless and waste.

For instantanse notice the underlined Alphabets and tell me their use

Alif
Bey
Pey patang starts with this letter
te
Tay TamaTar starts with this letter
Say the arabic word Thamar starts with this letter
Jeem
Che
Hey [Halwah]
Khey** as in Kharbooza**
dal
Daal as in DanDa
zaal [zaakir, zakia]
Ray
Zey
ARey [kooRaa]
Yay yakka starts with this letter

…

Both above have no usage in literature. They are just there because we cant kick them out

Thats not all. There are more.
Zwaad [as in zaalim]

zuaad = zaalim
toe = tota
zuaad = zaamin

Now Zoen And Zwaad have absolutely same pronunciation and usage. Why we need to confused children about their predefined usage. Just because its legacy and we have to follow ?

all the letters are used in urdu literature. every single letter. u have to know the correct hijjey to use those letters. u’ve to have a vast vocabulary in urdu to know which letters are used where. toi
