When people ask me that, they are usually trying to be sick with me……you know trying to be cool or smarta**! But when they get my answer, they are sorry for asking.
Just say like I always do “You are what you eat!”
And then they usually say “Oh so if you eat chicken then you’re a chicken, or cow or fish?”
. I mean really, would you rather be a pig then a chicken or a cow? And they don’t answer it cuz they know that it is a disgusting animal. They just try to make it like its some kinda joke but the joke is on them.
If they are serious about knowing why does it really matter, then ask them to get a Quran or search on Islam because they will keep on bothering you about it even if you answer it seriously and reasonably.
He, Allah, sees who is his obidient servant… period.

The fats of pig are used in LipSticks, some use Jojoba Oil but that is costly.
So the poor companies or those who want to earn more profit use the pork fats.
Pork fat is not melted even at the high temperature of man about 100°F which is if we calculate in 32°C.

I think there are many reasons why the Pig is haraam, and I think most of them have been discussed here. I suppose its just common sense really, looking at its lifestyle and other issues that have been bought up.
the only reason for me is - It is forbidden for us to consume for allah has told us.
Apart from that - from scientific point of view - pig is the only animal that has bacteria within its flesh. Other animals have baceteria within their organs (that is why care should be taken when cleaning the Halal animals after slaughter etc).
The problem is if you undercook the meat one type of bacteria does not die - and it is bad for you.
If you overcook the meat the other type of bacteria does not die - which is also bad for you..
Even if you cook it perfectly (which is not humanly possible) there will be other bacteria which will not die - which are bad for you.
So in all effects - cooked, uncooked, undercooked or overcooked - it is bad for you.
Pig is one animal that is completely full of parasites and therefore is vermin in my opinion. Remember Pulp Fiction and what Samuel L. Jackson says about pig meat to Travolta
Pig is Haram because Allah (SWT) said so: Now if we want we may do research and we will find not just one but countless things which will prove to us that eating pork is simply harmful for humans.

A discussion on Pigs?? I mean Wao. Xtreme, you are spared from any legal action from me, but I can’t guarantee my other buddies who find characterizing this beautiful animal as dirty and piggish. It is just not acceptable.
The difference between Humans and Animals (Humans are also Animals, but let’s call them Human for the purpose of this discussion) is that Humans think, and can analyze and use discernment for deliberation to reason, while animals can’t do that (at least not at the same or the cellular level). That should explain Pigs’ behavior (sexual, and other etc.). There are humans who get engaged in even more elaborated sexual habits, we don’t declare them in-Human? Do we? So looking at Pig from his habituated perspective is a shallow view. One should not pass judgements.
If you don’t want to eat pig, fine, but please don’t make fun of this pretty little animal. It is never violent like Goats and Sheep (have you ever been thrown in the air by a Sheep with Horns (Bhayd?). And the ones used for Qurbani are the worst. Pigs don’t do things like that.

pig meat is haraam because pigs are omnivorous animals. All carnivorous animals are haram. While herbivorous are generally halal. Pig falls in a middle category. It is for this reason that god's books: torah and quran do not allow pig.

I had plenty of it when I went to Bradford in England to visit my aunt's family. When my cousin suggested it to me first, I felt like vomiting but he persuaded me to try it out at least. But once you have tasted it once you know that it taste great.
My uncle and aunty had no idea that me and my cousin used to go to the caffe and eat bacon sandwiches for lunch. They would have killed us if they found out.
Sometimes I still get the craving for a bacon sandwich but you can't get it in Pakistan.

Thanks for the rundown on pig sandwich, but yumminess is not really the point here. For all we know, a slice of your butt grilled with brown sauce might be delicious but that doesn't mean we should eat it. Well maybe in bradford you might find some takers but not most places.
