To place all the blame on the middle east is not fair. While I am not as well versed in history as several here, it is obvious the destabilization started with Europe (mainly UK I think) dividing up the countries randomly when they left in terms 40s. Drawing random boundaries is a recipe for disaster.

Those of us who can’t see past 6 months into the past may conclude it is all the fault of the neighboring countries.

i don’t think you can create a homogenous country, all the countries in Asia contain people having different religions, sects and ethnicities
