What do you think were the reasons, especially political and strategic, for Spain’s reversion to Christianity after 800 years of Muslim rule? Thank you for your help.

A dichotomy of 2 things, the reconquista, which saw the explusion of muslims... and the lack of unity between berber and arab muslim conquerers...

Might is not Right. I'm shocked to see that you find nowhere in any school book the History of Al Andalus in Spain. It was pheomenal and the advanced civilization
the world had seen. Sadly wars for Might, Glory and Rule created havoc between the muslims. Nothing new, that happend few seconds after the death of Muhammad Mustafa (saw) anyway.

Islam was brought by the sword to a small part of Spain. It was removed by the sword and the native population reverted back to Christianity.

I agree with you that only option for survival was first one but interestingly spanish ruler hired specail ‘poo patrols’ who used to visit homes of christion convert from muslim family and observed if they are regularly eating pork or not.
