lol i was in pakistan recently, and my relatives there drink a LOT of tea, one cousin in particular had a really funny slurping style to drinking it.
I have seen people actually blow their noses with full force...onto the floor :( grossville. Either that or just use your headscarf :(.
As for the question regarding phlegm on the hand after a sneeze, i always have a tissue in my pocket, i cant go anywhere without tissue, i have a nose that likes to randomly run when it feels like it, so break off some tissue, wipe hand, and chuck. and then wash hands asap, or carry some hand sanitiser lol.

Nothing is basic, these are manners and set by we ourselves,
so some people set them as basics while others think them unnecessary, and go natural....

If I'm with anyone I don't know that well, I always follow table manners. At home and with friends I have no table manners, I gobble down food and burp freely. As far as sneezing and coughing go, I always cover my mouth, anything other than that is just wrong.
