Re: Why So Much Evil

Disgusting!

kids are worth giving life for and not taking theirs...

Every time I try to convince myself that we have made so much progress as humans, puck drops. A cruel reminder that ZAAR (money), ZAMEEN (land), ZUN (women) are still the basis or more than 80% of the crimes.

If proved guilty he should really be hanged on the very same land. unless justice is served swiftly, these things keep on happening. Now one will remember the crime 20 years from now when this guy will be executed.

Re: Why So Much Evil

makes u think thats there are fathers like that in this world aswell... disgusted

Re: Why So Much Evil

Disgusting.... lower than a pig, yes he is.

it is related to 'honor' killing though. Most of the times, it is not exactly about the land. It is the 'izaat' that goes to gutters if a guy loses a piece of land to his 'opponents'.

Watching the classic PTV drama 'Waris' again a few days ago reminded me of all the jahalat we still live in!

Re: Why So Much Evil

OMG , just for a piece of land . cant imagine life of women in those areas.

Thats horrible!

I know of a story like that, although it happened quite many years ago in my grandma's home village. The woman was a close friend of hers. She came to visit her brother and took along her daughter, 15 yrs old. Brother and his son (the womans nephew) were in dispute with another local family and to get them they planned an evil scheme. Nephew came running in the house after having shot the local families son, he shot her daughter infront of her eyes.

The woman was later divorced by her husband and she started to live with the same brother and his family. The nephew only got a few yrs jail, because he said he killed them both because they had something going - the socalled honour killing. When he returned, the mother of the girl sure took revenge. She shot him infront of his mother with his fathers weapon. Of course she got a much longer sentence, I think it was lifetime in jail. But she was content. I dont know if she did right or wrong, but what happened to her daughter happens to so many girls in those villages, because of jahil mentality.
