Firstly, fizzy drinks can impede weight loss in several ways… people think that by switching to the diet version of a certain fizzy drink will aid your weight loss, but in fact, some scientists have proven that sugar substitutes can have a weight gain effect in the longer term…
Also, aspartame, a sweetener which is present in many of these diet carbonated drinks, makes you HUNGRIER! In fact, i read somewhere that Aspartame in particular is broken down by the body into some pretty nasty stuff that is deposited in our tissues… ![]()
Also, carbonated drinks, especially their diet counterparts, can cause really bad bloating…
