Another benefit would be to clear out all the carrier specific bloatware so it doesn't have any impact on your phone.

only bloatware i have on my phone is facebook. i bought my phone from google so no extra crap came with phone just the ones i need.

You didn't see the list of things you can do after rooting? What kinda techy are u?

Not note2 I have archos 101. Kinda techy who can’t afford to loose his phone…not rite now at least.for sure next year

So I’ve been using my rooted and flashed S4 for a little over a month now. Here’s what I think:

  • Incredible speed, even over a congested 3G network in India
  • Very few freezes or crashes
  • So many customization options that my phone truly is me :blush:
  • Some real neat apps
