i think that the pyramids were made mighty and colossal for not one but many many reasons... Bigger things have bigger impacts for one..Now if you go back to who made these pyramids and why..all the reasons are there.. The pharaohs were considered son's of the god 'sun' .. They were considered most important beings on earth.. representing their father ..so forth and so on...
damn it , was that a trick question into making me a complete pre- k teacher...

I can answer this w/o googling it!
Its because they were made ALONG TIME AGO and stuff was better than.. (Quality,etc) People cared about what they were doing and the result was MUCH BETTER PRODUCTIVITY!
