Sisters and brother?, I wasn’t being a sexist, nor was I judging anyone. It was a general statement, not aimed at anyone specific.
It has nothing to do with Mullahs or Imams, but the reality is that Allah SWT has told women to cover themselves in front of non-mahram men. This is clear in the Quran itself.
As for men, the awrah of men is different from that of women. However, the command to lower your gaze applies to both gender. That’s why we should have segregated gathering always. It goes both ways.
