only after they're had time to recover, just the rate of recovery gets faster as you get proficient at 'losing', eventually you'll be indifferent.

it does make you stronger but doesn't kill your instincts, no matter what you'll always be afraid of losing something.

I think it depends on your personality, your strength of character and your outlook on life, how quickly you bounce back from your failures. Losing something is a failure usually.

Because sometimes your being stronger at the expense of a lost loved one, a lost dream, a lost hope, a lost opportunity, is too high a price to pay.
