Waqar Younis is bit different from Akram. Younis was a “transformed weapon” who required very little training to be lethal. Unlike Akram, who learned a lot and was (almost) at his best till he retired, Waqar was a very-very deadly-bowler at his very start. His performance was reduced after his injuiry and towards his end, he was just playing like a normal. The point is Waqar was a born player who never had to learn much and this might be a reason why PCB has not shown much interest in him. (at least I heard that in an interview)
