^ that's most of Pakistani's wanted, so they are getting what they deserve, no sadistic part here !
They want to find refuge from stress of living in a country where it is andheer nagri and choupat raj. They want to run from a place where you are not safe from criminals no matter where you live and no matter how powerful you are and no matter how much money you have . You can be victim of a crime even if you are dirt poor. Anybody I know living in Pakistan have been victim of some kind of crime. But here in US hardly few of my friends or family were victim of any kind of crime. They want to flee from a country where people say if you want to win a case in court hire a good judge , not an attorney. If you want a job you have to either bribe someone or you have to be connected to someone . Your talent and skills have no value. A country where a group of elders can allow gang rape of an innocent woman or girl for no fault of hers. A country where you cannot even get a grave or death certificate without bribing someone. A country where daughter of a chief justice is given high marks on exams by the chief of education board to save his skin. A country where everyday there is a bomb blast somewhere taking lives of innocent people. These are enough of reasons or you want me to list more ?

Maybe some Pakistani's go crazy about moving abroad because they know families based abroad who paint a pretty picture of abroad e.g. you work a few hours and earn soooooooooooo much money and the women are fit blah blah blah when the reality is you have to work as hard as you would in any country.
Some leave Pakistan seeking a dream e.g. they'll gain an education and move back to pakistan. Some leave Pakistan thinking we'll live the gora lifestyle in a country that has plenty of goris.
Some leave because they genuinely (sorry can't spell today) reasons to leave.

Actually, my family left in the 40s. Poverty is probably the main reason. Pakistan is extremely poor (its not all Defence!!), so most leave because of economic reasons. Minorities like Ahmadis and Christians leave because of persecution.

I have never met a Paki who left for Pakistan for fit girls or goris. They leave because they are bhokey and piasey!!! Actually may be that Helrraiser guy left Pak for gorian, but as I said I have never MET anyone who left for the gorian.

For a better life. Not just pakistanis, but people from all over third world are trying to move to Uk/US/Canada.

Instead of blaming or complaining over why Pakistanis leave their country, we should talk about how Pakis both overseas and in the country can help improve the fatherland. In general Pakistanis left for economic and educational opportunities, they worked hard, and most achieved success outside of Pakistan. Now the more important issue is: How can we use their technical skills, euros, and background to develop Pakistan?
Instead of asking all these Pakistanis to come back to Pakistan, perhaps we can come up with ways to attract their investment dollars, incentivize their stay into part time residences, and provide other travel facilities. Complaining about Pakistan is not the answer nor is hating on those who chose to migrate.
My family originates from a very remote part of Pakistan and despite the material success, we have made it a point to come back to the hometown to reconnect with each other and our people. Besides my grandparents are buried there and being at their grave to remember them is very important to me.

Not sure where you have settled, but in the UK, Pakistanis are pretty much at the bottom of the ladder on most statistics. So can't see how they should be expected to help Pak.
