Actually, we have some controversial personalities, mainly from Religious parties,..who are after Islamabad,..They don't care about Islam,..but using it to their convenience...

But hey,...welcome to the world of religious-Politics.. Its 21st century,..and same old religious game with new masks and hypocracy.
Pakistan is a small country and we shouldn't have any more parties,...because every party differs with an agenda....Specially religious parties must reconsider their own stand,...Islam is one,..Not divided in multiple layers...then what the fuss.
Politically we have different approaches,...but religion has only one,...If its more than one there is a problem,..which means,...POWER,. that's where we have the issue to fight over.

I think, that is due to a lack of knowledge about Islam then,…having one God,..One prophet,..One Quran,…then why there is still division among all parties.
Differnt variants with different politics are there,..but do they stand the test of our true Islam ?

Controversial personalities are not just "mainly" from the religious parties but rather they are from all over the Pakistani political spectrum. The religious political parties or the right wing parties are a new phenomena since this the first time they have won some seats. Other wise the Pakistani political background was filled with center and left parties with multi-layered controversial leaders. And dear as long as you are a political party, you have all the right to go for Islamabad, if every aera ghera natho khera from GHQ can go for Islamabad then all the political parties either from left or right has the same right.
Hypocrisy? Do you think that the Christian collation support to Republican Party is hypocrisy, if that’s the case then you have to look at the politics in 21st century again. If you really want democracy then the playing field should be even for all. Dear, for you Pakistan would be a small country but for others its huge country with more than 150 million people that’s almost half of US population. The religious right in Pakistan had the guts to come to a table and agree on some issue, they all know that Islam is one but there are different ways to solve problems in Pakistan. On the other hand the strongest party is Pakistan has already been divided and the PML is going to be disintegrated into further parties. So at the end of the day in the next elections the right wing parties are going to define the political spectrum, until and unless the GHQ gets pissed off.

Can you please distinguish between the political and religious Islam, I don’t know if any thing of that kind exists, if there is, its only propagated by the secularist minority based on the web and it has no ground reality. Even the most powerful leftist party in Pakistani history had to come up with terms such as “Islamic” socialism.
Dear its not lack of knowlwdge its known as difference of opinion, do you think that Imam malik didnt had knowledge about Islam, but rather he had a different opinion than Imam abu Hanifah.
So what is true Islam, care to explain? or do you think that its forbiden to have a different opinion in Islam.
Since when did Islam say that you can not have money power or fame, and where did Islam say that we are supposed to be angels?
okay, now with that said, if because of variances in points of view these religious-politicos cant unite, how do you suppose they will get the masses with differing views to unite? If they want an islamic system..they will impose what they think is the islamic system, which may or may not meet the needs of the general citizens who have a different approach. I mean forget about the usual punching bags of “mod muslims” or “secularists” but think of the others.
Why does one religiously inclined guy support JI and another one JUI? because they feel that their party understands their POV and sees them as his champion. What do you think will happen if the party he chose not to support comes to power and imposes a system or rules that he was not comfortable with to begin with and which prompted him to join one party and not the other.
so islamic system to one dude is not the islamic system to another dude. when these guys talk about bringing “the” islamic system in place..either there is enough in common that the differing views is not an issue..in which case having umpteen religious-political parties does not make sense, or there is not enough in common which results in the umptees religious-political parties..and in this case they can not bring about an islamic system which will satisfy most of the people supporting these parties let alone others.

Are you telling me,..If someone ( Army ) is already screwed up and driving Pakistan to ditch,…then Religious parties should take lead in that wrongful approach too..

Can you give any reference,..from Hadiths or Quran,..where it is mentioned that Yes,..you Muslims can have different opinion about islam,…Here Real islam,..means,..the Islam @ the time of Our Holy Prophet ( SAW)…not centuries later,…where everyone has his own interpertation…
Provide me with the reference from HOLY QURAN,..and Hadiths,..Then I shall believe you…
