While India has produced people like Natwarlal (there was even movie on him) and Charles Shobhraj (who is wanted in some 8-10 countries for many crimes) Pakistan has not produced a single legendary name among world class cheats. Can someone explain why this disparity??

our cheats are so good that no one knows that they are cheats. and those that are cheats that everyone knows about are so good they they are untouchable.
When things come naturally, there is no need to advertise and a need to brag about it. Showing off is not a good or amiable characteristic.

well... salim malik is still not the first. The first cricketor to be banned foe selling himself to bookies was British.
Also, we should note that Indian bookies are more tactful. When Malik offered Warne money to lose, he went all around the town shouting about it. On the other hand, when indian bookie 'John' paid Warne, he was happy to give information.

I remember a match played in Calcutta, b/w Australia and India:p , the Umpire was Goswami laal, kapil was the bowler, he bowled, all were appealing for catch behind, and Marsh was given LBW out :p:p:p
that was not only cheating but amaizing, though Marsh was even not out though, this was in late 70’s
