We should also be comparing how successful Hindu/Sikh Punjabis who migrated to India in 1947 are compared to their cousins who were left behind in Pak :)

Most of the muslims that migrated were from the middle and the upper middle class and the rich.

Again wrong, Majority migrants came from Khokhrapar (Sindh's Border) and Lahore , where people told them that "Pakistan Aagay Hay", were very poor. How much money or riches can you carry crossing the border by foot or on donkey cart. The majority setelled in big cities and towns of Sindh. They prospered here in Pakistan by hook or by crook. ( I applogise if I offend some one but that is the fact. A lots of refugees claimed evacuee properties by lying to the government.). Ask your elders when they crossed the border how much money and riches they brought to Pakistan? A number of refugee camps set up in Lalu Khet, Tin Hatti, PIB colony etc in Karachi alone. Get your facts corrected.

There is at least one LARGE book published in India. This was promptly banned by the government. Hence the ignorance of many good folks in India.

The book written by Gabha analyzes each and every government department and many privately owned corporations. The end result of this analysis was simple. ** Indian Muslims' representation is court system, finance, law enforcement, engineering, madicine etc. etc do not reflect their share of the population. **

You made your analysis after reading this so called book written by Gabha. Good for you. I really expected better from you.

For a moment let us imagine that whatever said in the book is completely true. The author is only claiming that the Indian Muslims' representation in court system etc do not reflect their share of population. I thought that the thread was about comparing apples and apples. The Indian Muslim population also includes entire muslim families who stayed back in India.

While this theory about lower representation is debateable, you have to understand that the author is talking about mostly govt depts. You have to take into account the muslims who are working in private companies as well.

So your entire theory about Pakistani muslims being better than their Indian brethern is yet to be proved and requires substantial more thoughts before this matter is debated.
