On a serious note , I keep a list of new thread ideas and open them when I see the forum is slow. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not, But it is in all good faith , not to annoy anybody. To keep the fun going and flowing.
Peace.
i just wanna say, mods do have that responsibility of constantly stimulating their forum. They may just open topics of interest that people might enjoy discussing and find interesting. nothing wrong with it. if mods dont participate people still have a problem.
chahta bhot kuch hoon, ab kia bataoN..kis kis ko bataooo.
just saying, maybe GS administration has a different approach but most forums do not get their staff starting majority of the new threads. that's all i am saying.
good to see they're trying their best to energize their respective forums.. and Mirch bhai, yaar aap bura maan gai.. didn't direct it at you.. just a general observation!!!

No not bura, just a little offended. No I am just kidding. Your criticism shows your love for these boards, so if you participate and open interesting new threads , I would not have to.:)
Often i'll come up with ideas and usually post quite a few threads within one or two days span. So if I do the same as mod....well pehli ki aadat hai :@:
why are the mods starting 4-5 new threads every day in their respective forums...
.
do you see that same mod starting 4-5 threads or 2-3 mods of same forum, each starting a thread or two?
You have to understand, Mods are guppy first, and some of them might be a mod cause they were good thread starters to begin with.
But any which way, if that is a genuine concern than be more specific than just posting a generic statement like yours, as I know for sure that the statement is not true in a general way. I can tell you many forums where mods dont post threads on daily basis.

I guess its not such a biggie if usually mods starts a thread …
usually general user are too shy … they just read the posts … or occasionally posts …
not many opens a thread …
so i guess its kewl if mods are opening threads … the prob. shud b … if they keep on opening threads in their respective forum only … esp. if thread belong in some other forum …
