I mean it’s behind closed doors, in the cozy white house anyway … with no cameras or transcripts, then why Bush & Cheney have to be together?

They are grown men, they can get their story straight. Me & my brother have done it several times. How can they be in politics and not get their story matched before being questioned about it?

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great they are testifying at all! I mean, I can’t imagine that happening in South Asia. Yeah, lets set up a commission to look into the Kargil mess & then show it on TV with Musharaff testifying. It will probably make more money than the test series between Pakistan & India.

isn't there something prohibiting the President and the Vice President being together any place at the same time?

and I agree.. with no media, no transcripts, no oaths, they could have easily appeard on their own and given the same BS separately .. who'd know and who'd care..
