Shak: I have been having an argument with my parents over wearing half sleeves. Yes, in the day and age when people think sleeveless should be ok, i am still fighting over being able to wear half sleeves. Even my shadi kay kapray (some of them) were made half sleeves after many arguments with my mother. I dont feel comfortable with sleeveless so would never go that route, but dont see anything wrong with half sleeves. But now that you ask, why girls like that, i have to stop and think. Maybe because of the warm weather, i dont know. I just plain like them. Is that a satisfactory answer? Perhaps not, but oh well. :)

I seldom wear half sleeves…but mostly the reason is warm weather. Usually for the gym i always go for half sleeves. Sleeveless is definately no no…becuz it shows your complete arms and underarms as well. Its not allowed in the gym as well.
Beside this all, i have some of my shalwar kahmess made with half sleeves and i think it looks really nice to wear something different once in a while.
I have noticed most of the stores now have extremely short and tight sleeves T-shirts…and that looks almost sleevsless. It doesn’t even look good

but i have seen women in Pak and here, weaeing sleevless or less in full winter. so there must be other reason to it.
i dont know just curious why? they feel like wearing this? or if allowed everything how far would they go?

Well someone whos' been there (wearing not so uh modest stuff).. i guess it's the thrill of doing something "taboo" for them. For me i guess it was just a "rebellion." I still can't think why did i do it, why did I dress that way, go through all teh trouble etc etc. Was it right? Hell naaa. Very immature, very childish, very stupid. But hey I was only 17 at the time, u cant blame grls at that age :p

I cannot speak for every woman out there, but if i were allowed to be myself, i would just go and do what i feel is right. That may be wearing sleeveless or going with the full abaya. But being given a choice is the thing women yearn for. Trust me, it can work wonders with some of us. We maynot be so stubborn afterall, if given a choice

Fast forward to year 2020. The future aunties (which are y’ll folks) will be thinking tube tops are fine, bikini and thongs are not.
The fact is neither sleeveless nor half-sleevs is acceptable…
but as long as non-muslim women are wearing it, i guess it’s okay:D

I am not allowed to wear sleeveless and short sleeves, never argumented because i dont even like it myself. As far as half sleeves are concerned, i wear them very rarely because my arms get tanned and i really dont like them like that. I just go for full-sleeves mostly, i think it looks elegent to wear shalwar qameez with full sleeves.

the answer to your question is a long one...but i'll try to keep it short....first of all not all women wanna show flesh....for different reasons....sometimes i dont wanna show flesh cuz i havent waxed my arms....some ppl dont wanna show cuz they dont have anything pretty to show....some dont show cuz of religious reasons...
now for those that 'do wanna show flesh....there can be different answers for that too....becuz a woman wants to attract a man, maybe cuz she just feels hot, maybe cuz she wants to show the world how pretty her arms or legs are that she spends hours working out on......so see this question is a bit weird..its the same as asking, why do u wanna wear clothes of different colors?.....its not necessary and we wont die if we dont do it but people still do it....and i dont think there should be any rules against it. if someone doesnt like a woman that shows some skin.....turn the other way and find a woman who does cover her skin.

well if im confident that my skin looks sexy and hot then to me it feels great. if i think that im gonna feel miserable showing my arms cuz i havent waxed them...then why would i show in the first place? so as far as im concerned it feels really good.
last question..if my family allowed it what would my limit be? although there is no way of knowing that for sure....i think i would definitely wear skirts and sleeveless tops.....shalwar kameex does nothing for curves lol..........
