omg.......ok i take my word back hehe :p this lehnga is stunning. maybe me and my hubby should marry again and i can wear this hehehe :p
well i dont like red myself!! i absolutely hate the colour red as it is but to wear it on the wedding day, errr not my choice. i wore baby pink on my shaadi with frushia pink stone work.
but after looking at this black lengha....mmmm maybe my view has changed hehe
would love to see ur wedding pics... can you plz post them :)
I have seen a bride wear black on her wedding....it had a little red in it as well...didn't look bad. the groom matched her and wore a black sherwani...looked nice.
Its just a wedding is a happy occassion which is associated with happy bright colours...white looks elegant....
black is dark associated with mourning etc.,
But if one can spice it up with nice work and embroidery...than I don't think there is anything wrong, especially if there is a lot of crystal work and good lighting..it'd look hot
Personally, I don't like a black bridal dress.... I mean little bit tinge of black here n there is ok but I personally don't like black as the base color of the bridal dress...
ashhh! my mistake. it does look beautiful, doesn’t it? i believe it was made for her engagement. the outfit tooba and the other girl are wearing are also by him (new collection)
um yeah some ppl think black is 'munhoos' or a sign of something bad happening...why not just get something navy? navy is a little more forgiving and will give the contrast u want
I wore an all black gharara with copper/dull gold kaam to a close friend's wedding and expected some bashing from the aunties but they all loved it.. they said they had never seen a black gharara before, haha. i think once girls start wearing it, people will start appreciating it more.
personally though, i've had my fill of black in my everday wardrobe and i've got lots of little black dresses... so when it comes to desi wear, i always prefer lovely, lush colors... except for saris... i got a thing for black saris.
