1-the reality that Islam can be “used” by miscreants is yet to sink in. Our simple minded people still beleive that everyone with a long beard, and claiming to uphold Islam can never do anything wrong. They are still in “denial” that these crimes are comitted by our own brothers.

2- The ruling class is extremely corrupt and people do not trust them.

3- The practicing muslims are not spearheading the compaign against this barbarism, they are just keeping quite, while the islamophobic like you (j/K) are yelling at top of there lungs and people don’t trust them either.
