Yes, Fawad Khan misbehaved with senior artist like Badar Khalil but in India he sucks up to every tom dick and harry actor. Tries too hard to act like some 'down to earth' guy but comes across as cringeworthy. I find both him and ali zafar cheapsters buttering up for favors.

I think its twice as hard to go to India and fight the currents and still "apna loha munwana"

His acting in Khobsurat was not that he used to act in Pakistan…

hahaha i agreed loha tou khair koi nahin manwaya, debut male award hai sirf, rahat fateh ali khan ko bhi milaa tha 2010 main best playback singer kaa phir kiya huaa uss kay saath…khair baat yeh hai kay har actor chahta hai long term career jo pakistan main nahin ho sakta is liye ab jo better option hai uss ko avail kar rahe hain paki artists…

long term career in india? are you joking? what happened to zeba bakhtiar, nadeem and mohammad ali and zeba? ek dau filmon ke baad sab waapis. kyun? fawad ka role itna ghatiya that khoobsurat mein. ek phateechar award deke they're trying to lure him. chal bhai khush hoja sookha award hi mile ga film na mili. these awards are for sale.

Tauba hai ascribing intentions to people as if you are some know all psychic! Fawad has always been humble and down to earth from what i recall of his interviews. Now if its all an act hez been doing a very convincing job of it considering how i remember him being all restrained and decent even back in the EP days with girls literally throwing themselves at him left right and centre. And while i agree he was uncharacteristically wooden and self conscious in Khoobsurat he was appatently good enough to land a filmfare. Imagine how far he can go with a little more experience.

yaar, i know kay career koi nahin bana saka india main javed sheikh bhi shaamil hai aur ali zafar bhi kaafi haath paon maar raha hai lakin ab tak koi faida nahin hua....pakistan main jo great artists aane thay woh aa chuke, ab possible nahin hai bcoz films, dramas, music sab barbaad ho chuke hain is liye inn artists ko india main hi kuch future nazar aa raha hai, aage career bana yaa nahin woh inn ki qismat...

^ we are making better films than bolly and that will only improve. same with tv industry it is going to expand further. pak has plenty of talent and thats not a thing of the past. abhi bhi pakistani musicians, singers, actors, writers are FAR better than bolly can ever have. bolly needs pak help not the other way round. if they didn't need you, they wouldn't cast your artists. woh apni territory pe aapko kyun jaga deingay? problem is ppl like fawad and zafars have no confidence in thmeselves, they sell out for small time roles thats' all they'll get.

aur waisay b these are international artists, they are not restricted to Pakistan only.... common example hai hum pakistani dunya bhar mein haen. jahan achi opportunity nazar ai wahan chalay gaey. then why cant these artists do the same???? jisko jahan achi job with good income mili wo wahan per hai, usi terha if their source of income is India... so problem kya hai????

practically kuch nahi ho raha? in which lala land are you living? what was waar? moor? operation 021? who works in bakwaas film like khoobsurat? itna bakwaas role was he playing deaf and dumb? it was a mere supporting role a shame for any actor of calibre. fawad has done far better roles in pak. principles naam ki koi cheez hai ya nahi? ya jahan paisa dekha cheap fame dekhka bik gaye? baisti karwane chale jaate hain bakwaas roles ke liye. kaam karna hai tau koi acha kaam karo jis mien izzat bhi ho.

aapki duniya india tak hi mehdood hai? sui wahin atki hui hai? india nay aapko kounsi khaas oportunity di hai? ek supporting role de diya aur us pe uchal rahe ho. us say behtar kaam tau yahan pe kar rahe thei. duniya mein tau sau say ziada mulk hain tau wahan kyun nahi jaate kaam karey? duniya bhar mein pakistani kaam ke liye jaate hain lekin kounsa pakistani hai jo india jana pasand karega? only ali zafar and fawad types would go there nobody else wants to.

I've seen his interviews in India around the time that Khubsurat was released and I did not find him to be obsequious in any way. On the contrary, I thought Sonam Kapoor was gushing more than him. Since I'm not a die hard fan of his, I don't have any issues in admitting he was sucking up.....had I seen it. I felt that he conducted himself with greater class than folks like Humaima, Veena, etc etc.
When you go into a country which is none too fond of your own, a bit diplomacy is required. Heck, it's required in most if not all professions...acting or otherwise. If a Pakistani actor can manage to say good things about India and the professional/leisure experience he had there.....WITHOUT....criticizing/bashing his own country, then I don't see that as obsequious or shameful.

Fawaad Khan comes to India to do a job, and he gets paid for it. Getting a Filmfare award is a perk, its not a right.
I am assuming the money is good, else why would he be working in Bollywood ? After that, its his luck. If he is good, the audiences will accept him - if not, he will be relegated to second/side here roles.

dunya india tak mehdood nahi hai, ur right… zaroori to nahi ye mulk koi b ho sakta hai aur ho sakta tha jahan wo ja ker upna talent utilize kerta… agar india chala gaya hai to konsi qayamat aa gai hai??? as long as he is getting paid good then no harm… aur waisay b kaha ye jata hai bollywood walay hollywood ko dekhtay haen aur humaray stars india mein opportunity dekhtay haen… aur rahi india janay ki baat to mein khud upni job assignment per india reh chuki houn for 4 months… again because they paid me 850 USD per day with all expense paid trip 
to go there and do the assignment… so mujhay to samjh nahi aati masla kya hai humaray logoun k saath. barh charh ker indian movies dektay haen, SRK aur katrina per martay jatay haen, so agar unhi films mein humaray funkaar act keraen to fatway start
