Often people mistake this restriction as a sign of inequality that degrades women, when in fact it’s the exact opposite. …anndddd the best way to find the reasoning behind why Muslim women are not permitted to marry non-Muslim men is by quoting Hadiths and even the Quran itself :

Basically Muslim women aren’t allowed to marry non-Muslim men because they might be asshole control freaks and Muslim men could never be asshole control freaks because they are dictated not to be.

Well, yea it's all a matter of keeping the women's rights as a Muslim wife in place.

For example, the Muslim wife owns all the money the Muslim husband makes. A non-Muslim husband might not be ok with that, and that would lessen the Muslim wife's rights.

If they don’t follow Islamic laws then they’re obviously not Muslim men. Whether they choose to label themselves as Muslim men is different.

The money that he earns is not his wife(wives)' The Prophet (pbuh) made it explicitly clear to take only the money that was absolutely required for the wife and her son nothing more .....

BTW I would like to know the meaning of the term 'absolutely required'. For me having a jacuzi in my bath would be an absolute requirement..
