If I were to speak from my limited experience (my own example and the example of people I know), I would say that it’s because they don’t have anyone in mind themselves, so they’re open to parents’ suggestions.
I also want to add that I’m not saying that most want an arranged marriage, but when it comes to those who get married that way, that’s their story.
