Does your faith allow you to break the code of conduct to what you sign up to? As a member of this forum you should observe the rules ... how many times will you start the same thread? How many times will you subject your faith in such bad light. As being one who is an ambassador for your religion you do not give people a decent hearing, you cannot listen to them or respond fairly. You cannot give a decent invitation to your faith and you do not shine with any admirable character. Then why should people believe you?
I am having a good discussion with one of the moderators. If you think that my faith is bad, you are disagreeing with the teachings of Jesus Himself, for it is He that taught these things. I have listened and tried to answer the questions, so I scratch my head as to what you mean by that. What did I do that was in bad charactor?
How will Jesus (AS) think of you in your methods of pushing people away from him rather than towards him.
How so? By telling you what HE said? He's the one who said that He was the only way, NOT me. I just believe Him. Do you?
We love Jesus (AS) because he was sent by God, we do not love him for any other reason. What selfishness there is to love the man who died for our sins when he was despised when he was alive? (assuming that he died)
I am not the one who despised Him when He was alive and not all men despised Him when He was alive. The reason He was despise was because He brought to men the SAME MESSAGE that I bring you and yet you seem to despise me for it. He is the one with the message. I am merely repeating to you HIS teachings.
Why did people not follow him when he was alive yet through guilt start to follow him when they no longer had him around?
First of all, He had followers that followed Him, but in spite of His countless miracles in front of their faces, they still had a bit of doubt. He predicted that He would die on the cross and rise from the dead. After He died on the cross and rose from the dead, He showed Himself to His disciples and many other people. At THAT POINT, they became BOLD for Him even willing to give their very lives for the gospel. 11 out of 12 of the disciples were murdered for sharing the gospel that this first post tells you. If He had not indeed risen from the dead and shown Himself to them, surley they wouldn't have been willing to DIE for what they knew was a lie. There is no way they would. Christianity EXPLODED after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The only way that the devil could slow it down was to find false religions to destract people away from the gospel that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. ALL false religions deny that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead BECAUSE belief in Christ dying on the cross and rising from the dead for their sins and placing their faith in Him for salvation is required for salvation. The devil knows this and will do anything to get people to believe otherwise.
Why is it not enough to ask God for forgiveness? Is God incapable of that without bloodshed? Nay ... The Parable of the Prodigal Son shows that to turn back is enough to please the father.
Because LEGALLY in heaven, a just God MUST require punishment for sin. He knew that we couldn't pay what HE HIMSELF required so HE paid it for US. It was required and HE paid it. To reject that is to spit in the face of God so to speak.
my response is in bold.
