Whenever i put a bit heavy makeup on…i start looking aunty aunty especially in snaps…:naak:

it gives me a bit sharp look in real, that i like and need sometimes, but wearing the same makeup in reel (photographs) i look like a horribly painted auntyyyy…:crying:

May be you're using the wrong foundation or base with an SPF or a sheen and the wrong lip shades... which give you that very made up look. Also when it comes to make up a little goes a long way, so use as minimal makeup as possible, just work up your best features and aim to give your skin a healthy glow.
Also applying effortless looking and natural make up does take a lot of practice, so just practice and try different looks and different brands to find what looks best on you.
You can also watch videos and make up tutorials to help you get the hang of it. Or take inspiration from any pictures you like the make up looks in.
If you just want to get good photos than you can look for brands that are meant for photoshoots and stuff, e.g revlon's photofinish line and three dimensional lip glosses etc.
A tip, I dunno if this is true for everyone, but bold lip colors always make me look older, so i tend to go for lighter colors like pinks, mauves and neutrals rather than maroons and reds and dark browns. Also a nice lip gloss shade always gives you a very youthful look from what I've noticed. :)

True!! Maroons and Brown Lip colors does make one look older than theirAge!
And also, Pinks, reds and lightershades makes one appear Younger and youthful :)

hmmm…wow thats very helpful. i use Etude BE2 as its matches my skin tone. and lip colors :hmmm: ok i will try both lighter and darker shades and take photo with both on..that would help me to decide what suits me best :slight_smile:

Try a concealer and tinted moisturizer or compact instead of any heavy foundation. Use neutral colors such as beige/toffee/coffee/pink etc.
