why Islam?

AoA

This thread is exclusively about a topic where your views are only relevant if you are muslim. Therefore if you’re about to hit the reply button, and tell me..say..that Hinduism really is much cooler, then thats all very nice, but Im not interested.

Now. I have this chinese friend who has no religious upbringing or influence. All the same, she does have religious inclinations, she says she likes to think there is a God, that she believes in an abstract one since so many people have so many different Gods. She believes in fate..afterlife, etc..simply because she feels there is one.

I’d like to bring her to Islam, but having been a muslim all my life, i cant bring to words why Islam is really better than Judaism..Christianity..etc.

If anyone has any experience in this regard, or if anyone is a revert to Islam, advice would be very welcome.

Regards,

Very clever of you ... i should start doing the same to avoid some insane pathetic excuse of life people out of my threads... and honestly
ravage... there are so many websites online that can help you with that.. go to google and type in islam and there are like hundered of websites that can help you understand which direction you can proceed wtih this issue of yours. May Allah give you enough strenght and knowldge to bring another person to islam. You have no idea what kind of reward you will get. Wish you best of luck

You can check the following links and compile somethings for her:

http://www.islam-for-everyone.com/come_to_islam/why_islam/why_islam_index.htm

http://www.harunyahya.com/

They offer some pretty good stuff. And like Salman mentioned, there are scores of other web sites also.

thanks guys. i'll check links out.

the other thing is..till now most of my conversations with her have been casual..offhand ones.

she isnt that close a friend of mine. i dont know how to approach the topic without making it difficult to remain professional later on.
