Re: why is this so in Pakistan?

in such kind of unrest , if one has any suggestion , input or guidance to give than one has to be part of that system ............and most of us @ GS r pakistanis living abroad hence can't help

and soni we shouldn't forget that it's our own people , ralatives , friends , neighbours , country men who're in that hell so we need not to be harsh ]

Re: why is this so in Pakistan?

The only way to run democracy correctly as in UK and US for example is to utilise the same model in such countries.

The mistake made by Pakistan time and again is that their people who have the actual positions of authority bring themselves into the limelight. They have no puppets.

True democracy is a sham. The only way it works is by convincing the public - the masses that power is being actually exchanged upon every election. They also set up false options but policies are all more or less the same.

Large corporate companies have formed syndicates and pressure groups that "persuade" governments for doing things. The media focusses only on the government and even pretends to be independent by maiming the character of some 'puppet' leaders. It does not matter those leaders will go and new ones will come in their place, but the CEO's of corporate companies and their long term goals will not change.

In short the democractic process need only convince the audience (i.e. the public) that it is in place, but the reality is that it is a hidden autocracy. If Pakistan adopts that model then the puppets are put in place and they rotate when the time is right, or when the public want a change in the background the autocracy should operate regardless. This is the only way democracy will work. Places like Turkey and Pakistan and few others fall because they try to implement democracy in it's textbook form.

This isn't half as bad as the situation in places like Palestine and Iraq! They are the ones who need the REAL help!
