I’m new to this forum.. but I can already feel this question in some of Pakistanis’ mind.. Why is this Indian on a Pakistani forum?
I cannot speak for all Indians. There are a billion of us. Seriously. This is just about why ME. Indian.. is on this forum.
To start off.. all my grandparents were born and grew up in the region that is now Pakistan. Lahore, to be more specific. So there is a geographical historical connection.. if not a political or a religious one. A lot of other people globally (from different Yugoslavian states.. for example) feel this geographical historical connection to other states too. Any recent Ind vs Pak (60 yrs is pretty recent.. compared to the hundreds of years my ancestors have probably lived in..what is now Pakistan) is not enough for me to make all of Pakistan my enemy. Screw that. Some of my very close friends are Pakistanis and they are wonderful people.
Don’t get me wrong.. I love India.. sure we have our problems.. but we are trying..some of us at least …
Even if it wasn’t for the geographical connection.. the fact that Pakistan is my neighbor should make me a well-wisher automatically. Look at all the successful states in the world.. they all have good relations with their immediate neighbours..European countries have fiercefully fought with each other for CENTURIES.. yet now they are the EUROPEAN UNION..
Even if I was to be selfish.. for India’s sake..our neighbours should be successful stable countries.. that’s only for argument’s sake.. this is not the actual reason why I personally want Pakistan to be a successful country.
I want Pakistan to do well.. just like I want Srilanka Bangladesh and Nepal to do well…because we are all in the same region.. and also for humanity reasons… don’t take this the wrong way.. but the truth is that India is the biggest and the leading country in the subcontinent.. this doesnt mean we should interfere or control what’s going on in our smaller neighbour countries.. but it does concern us…we should all help each other in anyway that can help.. we must…if we are not.. then we are not being good neighbours.. this criticism includes India.
Territorial conflicts exist everywhere.. It’s the damn British’s fault mostly I say (it’s debatable I know.. but its partly them at least).. I mean.. where have the British left and not caused a territorial conflict?
We should not let the “problematic” segment of our population (be that certain govts..or terrorist groups.. or armies on either side or anything else) dictate how we feel about ALL of the other country’s population.
I initially signed up on this forum to discuss Cricket.. but then got to following other topics as well… this looks like an active forum with a good amount of interesting topics… I hope I am able to interact with my Pakistani brothers and sisters (yes.. BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!) without my Indian identity causing issues or prejudice.
I for one have no problem with Indian's posting on GS. But the fact is that most if not all the Indians start making snarky remarks against Pakistan. A good majority end up being banned over the long term. Always coming back with Multinicks.
But hey at least GS is better than BR where you are banned for just being Pakistani.

Actually yes it is. That is why people judge you being based on your nationality. Because so far all the Indians on here have been wankers with a lack of basic common sense. It is also why there is general animosity between the nations. The inability to go beyond the past and accept everybody as individuals.

Just because so far (if that is actually true) all Indians on GS have had NO common sense (if that is actually true), should you start b*****ng ALL Indians with the same brush? There is a billion of us. Surely we have all kinds!
As I said I am new. I do not know of too many other Indians on here. But the guy "some1" who seems to be Indian does seem to have common sense and doesn't seem to me as a Pak basher.
I for one have nothing against anyone having any nationality as long as they dont come with a loathsome hidden agenda. You dont, I have seen your posts. And I am sure you are gonna be accepted here.

We have had many Indians on this forum, good, bad and ugly. There are some we loved like ejaz bhai, some we havent.
You are welcome on GS. I hope that indian forums also become open to Pakistanis, been to a couple of Indian forums and once you say a positive word about Pakistan, one is immediately banned.
Just ignore the anti-India bigots.. unfortunately it's ppl like those so-called 'patriots' on this board who are the ones giving Pakistan such a bad name.. soon as u state that u don't agree with their racist BS u got called a 'secret Indian' (or Jew lol)..
