Haris, when the COAS retires, he cant even spend an additional day in the army house. When Zia died, his family wanted to stay for a while, but they were asked to leave as well. So hence, there are no such laws, and hence there is a fuss, hence you have retd top brass complaining about it, hence you have lawsuits emerging, and hence you have musharraf making a bleak announcement that he will now leave in July.
