Most, if not all people originally from developing nations would experience more political and social freedom in the Western world. That applies to Indian Hindus too.

I personally do not, and have never worn one in my life. That doesn’t change the fact that there are millions of Muslim women who do, and in the interest of a free society, I support their right to do so. Unlike you, I don’t believe it’s the government’s job to tell women how to dress.
PS…you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. The French have made it clear that they are banning the burqa for cultural reasons, because it is “not consistent with French values.”
But I’m not surprised to be seeing bigots defending the actions of other bigots.
