True that, an operation whose command is in Provincial Chief hands can not be apolitical. The operation needs to be completely free of political influence, any political party who tries to influence it one way or the other must be prosecuted.

PPP, MQM, ANP and some religious elements should have a classical ‘chitrol’ at the hands of the army. That’s the only way to move towards a peaceful Karachi. If you see the body language of the police and rangers involved in the operation, they appear to have given up already.
