Sehrysh what you have not been doing is reading the PA/WA forums. Its rather amazing that so called Pakistanis will ***** about Pakistani people and Muslims all the freaking time. But when it comes to applying the same standard to their adoptive homeland they can’t even maintain the same moral standards. Pathetic. But then again your ignorance in the matter can not be held against you.
Seriously I wonder how some of you call yourself Muslims. Jihad this Jihad that. You use the western media definition of Jihad. Which is but one aspect of the entire concept. Jihad is not about killing innocent Americans no matter what CBC says. The notion is that of bettering one’s self. Making one a better Muslim. Then making your environment just and better for all. The idea is to stand up for injustice against the Muslim people in many ways. Only one of which is war.

Thank you for the link, it will help lil ole me edumicate myself on jihad and help me overcome my woeful ignorance.
At the end of the day, you have your own world view shaped by your education, experiences and loyalties. Not to say it's wrong or right - but it's your view. My own is shaped by my own experiences and the context in which I live and the value judgments I make. I don't apologize for seeing things differently - that's my prerogative and it's between me and my conscience.
But word to the wise, don't assume that people who don't share your world vision and understanding are one-dimensional or ignorant.

Ones words define ones view of the world and the moral values they uphold. Its rather simple. Those who do value the life of innocents people regardless of cred and race do not find implausible justifications. Sadly that is very common on this website. To condemn the killing of one group of innocents and defend the killing of other innocents a just.

Because the invaders or crusaders cashed in on the hatred against Islam fueled by our dear extremists.
I don't say its 100% our fault, but we must do our bit and clean our own house instead of crying foul of them which won't stop any of these atrocities.
Our extremists? They are not my extremists. I am not one with them. They are a separate entity to me.
It's not even 1% our fault.
I do understand that in times such as these, it is not always enough to be good; you have to show you are. That sentiment just depresses the hell out of me though.
